2008: Touching Point
“Miten hellästi
sinä kosketit ja kuitenkin kaikki minussa järkkyi”
(”How softly you touched me and yet it shook
everything in me”) Vuokko Koistinen
Inspirered by a qoute from Finnish Vuokko Koistinen, five dancers from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia meet in search of a common contact surface. Each of them with their own background, roots and own values. In spite of their differences, they find a common ryhtmn. Inspired by meetings and time spent together they have created Touching Point, a performance about meetings, to look and to be influenced by other people.

2008: YoungChoreography in Barents
Youth and strength.
Beautiful and stylish. Brave and raw. The future's
choreographers give a report on dance today.
Dance is one of the artforms where collaborations are made across boarders all over the world. This year we are lucky to present four young choreographers from Russia, Sweden, Finland and Norway. Each of the four countries with their own dancers and own choreography, something that will create a night filled with variation and experiences.

2007: Barentsperformance
In spite of big
similarities between people living in the Barents
Region there are still many differences. Languages
are one of the bigger ones. As a Norwegian or a
Swedish it can be difficult to listen to Russian or
Finnish. It can be very hard to understand for an
untrained ear. Luckily we understand body language
better than language. A cheerful hello or a bowed
head is universal. The Barents performance Sunday
afternoon is a possibility to travel through Sweden,
Finland, Russia and Norway. A tour through all the
counties of he Barents Region in just one night. If
you know many languages or not does not matter.
